It was the first morning of the world.
And we came with accents.
But our secrets stolen. Our shit taken. Our skin radiated light like sun under our skins. Read, yellows and browns.
Our wombs may-be made
To heal and nurse back the black and blue bruises and wounds.
Push us out from the Earth. Pushed down. We push back up and out back, expanding to take it back.
Children strong from the start.
Back to the Future now.
Back to where we started from, when stars burned in our eyes. Brighter than the North star. Brighter than it is from afar.
The next morning, We will wake up next to a river.
Our voices and hearts stronger than ever.
(A compilation of some stuff I think in poem form.)
