Blue Scholars kept me sane today yo...
This week is turning out to be... creative.
I don't think I'm going to the school I've been working towards for the past 6 months. Crazy right??!!!
I'm still pushing for Chicago... but I just applied to a school (essay and fee in all in about an hour!) about five minutes away from the original plan. I'm living on a prayer... That really does explain it all.
My life be like.. I love that song. The lyrics are mad insightful. And it struck a cord within me today.
(Honestly, my ipod nano is a blessing. Lol.)
Funny how I work so hard for something and It doesn't work out the way I expect. I'm not that upset though... I know things will work out. They ALWAYS do.
Maybe, even though I haven't painted anything or created anything tangible in a while... I feel like a true artist. I'm shaping my life like... silly putty... not quite ceramic.

Anyway... Tomorrow is another busy busy day... High school visit, college phone calls, post office.

I like that quote very much. It definitely is true, insightful. If you feel like an artist then that is the driving force to it all. I don't write everyday, some people don't create on a daily or even weekly basis but that still doesn't subtract who they are...an artist. Good luck in your quest. I really hope you get into the college of your choice.
